Community Appreciation Event

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 community appreciation event taking place from May 19 - 22nd. As a part of the Interlake community since 1954 our office has evolved in many ways over the years, with an increased selection of frame and lens options, an increased variety of contact lens options, and more sophisticated technology to examine the health of the eyes, we strive to bring the most up to date eye care to the community.

In spirit of our community involvement we have invited many industry leaders to come and visit Gimli! During the week of May 19-22nd we will have representatives from frame, lens, and contact lens companies who will be in the Gimli office to chat and mingle. We invited everyone from the surrounding areas to pop by and see what is new and exciting in the ophthalmic world, try on frames that we don’t always have on site, and visit with our staff.

During this time there is limited availability for appointments with the optometrists so we encourage anyone who might need to update their prescription to call ahead to book.

Finally we will be running a promotion on our product with 25% off of everything, a great opportunity for anyone looking to update their sunglasses for summer, or anyone in need of new glasses to wear day to day! (There are exclusions on already discounted packages/product).
